Shop Review (Olde Country Gourmet - Stafford, Virginia): A Bordeaux style blend with a rich, full body complimented by aromas of dark plums, currants, and subtle vanilla undertones.

My Review: I could definitely detect a berry, vanilla aroma to this wine and the nose was very intriguing for a red wine. It smelled fresh rather than dry as some reds do, and it tasted fruity and smooth without being particularly sweet. I really enjoyed this wine because I could really detect the flavors since it was neither sweet nor dry. I would definitely buy this wine and would like to pair it with really any type of food from dinner to dessert to see how these further enhance its flavor.
