Winery Review: 90 PTS WILFRED WONG. The Cavicchioli 1928 Lambrusco Dolce is a cut above the rest; sweet, with excellent acidity; fresh, red fruit flavors; excellent finish; delicate and refined.
My Review: I actually loved this wine! It's different from many I have had before, and had an earthy, rustic component that I think displays old world quality. It had the flavor of a red but with added sweetness and a light bubbly component that made it perfect. It would be great to sit out out on the porch and sip this with friends while just snacking or spending time together.
